ITA Scholar-Athlete List and All Academic Teams

Eighteen Yeshiva University tennis players, including 10 from the men’s team and eight from the women’s team were recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as ITA scholar-athletes for having a cumulative 3.5 grade point average or higher during the 2013-14 academic year. Furthermore, both teams were recognized by the ITA as all academic teams for having cumulative team GPAs of 3.3 or higher during the same time span.

“I am so proud of these fine men and women whose excellence in the classroom has earned them such an outstanding honor,” said Yeshiva University Director of Athletics Joe Bednarsh. “This is another in the continuing series of academic honors for our student-athletes that make me appreciate every day their hard work and dedication.”

The 2014 Skyline Conference champion men’s tennis team garnered a 3.605 GPA, while the women’s team amassed a 3.680 team GPA.
