Jason Greenblatt Donates Mini Ambulance To United Hatzalah of Israel

(Courtesy of United Hatzalah) Jason D. Greenblatt, renowned former diplomat, American lawyer and former executive vice president and chief legal officer to Donald Trump, together with his wife, Dr. Naomi Greenblatt, and their children, donated a Mini-lance (mini ambulance) emergency medical response vehicle to United Hatzalah of Israel, the world’s largest fully volunteer EMS organization. This EMS vehicle will be specifically driven by an Arab volunteer and deployed in the eastern neighborhoods of Jerusalem, at the request of Greenblatt himself.

“I’ve proudly supported United Hatzalah for many years, finding it a unique privilege to not only advance their life-saving mission but also to embrace and celebrate the rich diversity found within both Israel and the volunteers of United Hatzalah. It deeply resonates with me to know that by donating a Minilance vehicle, I’m empowering an Arab volunteer to save lives in Jerusalem’s Arab neighborhoods, including right in [the volunteer’s] own community. To me, the essence of Israel lies in its vibrant tapestry of diversity, and this ethos is beautifully reflected in the heart of United Hatzalah’s operations,” commented Greenblatt.

Greenblatt, who was appointed as an assistant to the president and special representative for international negotiations by President Donald Trump in January 2017, has long been dedicated to fostering positive change throughout the Middle East, where he maintains deep ties to the leadership and business communities.

The EMS vehicle will be operated by one of United Hatzalah’s dedicated female Arab volunteer EMTs, highlighting the inclusivity and diversity that define Israel’s unique character. This initiative not only delivers a crucial resource to the community but also serves as a symbol of unity and empowerment.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jason D. Greenblatt is an Orthodox Jew residing in Teaneck with his wife, Naomi Greenblatt. The couple have six children, two sons-in-law, a granddaughter, and will shortly welcome a daughter-in-law into the family. Naomi, a psychiatrist, shares her husband’s dedication to philanthropy and community development.

This generous donation aligns with the Greenblatt family’s broader mission to contribute positively to the well-being of communities, fostering unity and understanding in the process, with an extensive focus on Israel and its Arab neighbors. Greenblatt is the senior director of Arab-Israel Diplomacy for The Jerusalem Center of Public Affairs.

United Hatzalah is the world’s largest fully volunteer EMS organization with over 7,000 Volunteer EMTs, medics, paramedics and doctors. United Hatzalah responds to emergencies with an average response time of 90 seconds.
