(Courtesy of JCC MetroWest) JCC MetroWest, in partnership with the Madeline Drench Special Needs Endowment Fund, will be hosting a Virtual Dance Social on Sunday, August 16, from 4-5 p.m. Featuring music by Powerhouse Studios DJs and entertainment by MC “Fun” Rachel Gordon, the event will also provide opportunities to request songs from the DJ.

This event is free and open to any individual with special needs aged 15+ throughout Northern New Jersey. Prior registration is required by Friday, August 14, at https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJwvfuuorz4vGtTutBUtw5ttYve4_CBNZjDi where a Zoom link and password will be provided.

“During a summer where many plans and programs have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to give our participants and others in our community a safe event to look forward to as well as an opportunity to connect with peers during a time where many feel stuck at home and isolated from others,” said Marisa Cohen, director of special needs services at JCC MetroWest. “We want to thank our sponsor, Barbara Drench, and the Madeline Drench Special Needs Endowment Fund for making this exciting event a reality.
