JCC University Presents Two Online Opportunities

Socially Distant Theater: The Solo Show as Seen by Hirschfeld

David Leopold, creative director of the Al Hirschfeld Foundation, comes to JCC University to share this new and timely exhibit. Hirschfeld was one of the most iconic artists of the last century and is known for drawing caricatures. Some of the portraits we will be looking at include Whoopi Goldberg, Lily Tomlin and Christopher Plummer.

Thursday, Aug. 6, 11 a.m., $12/$14

JCC University offers the opportunity to rekindle previous passions, ignite new interests, meet new people and stay involved in the developments that shape today’s world. Top professors and experts present on topics including science, literature, film, economics, psychology, architecture and politics.

New: Virtual Mah Jongg Beginner Classes

In this private online class with Stacy Budkofsky, you’ll learn how to play skillfully in a relaxed atmosphere. With only four people per class, Budkofsky will make sure you get plenty of individual attention and practice time so you can master the game.

Five two-hour sessions. Specific days and time will be determined by participant’s availability. $160/$180
