(Courtesy of JCOT) The Sisterhood of the Jewish Center had its monthly Sunday Knitting Night at the Jewish Center on January 7. It gave teenagers from Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School and an interested Teaneck woman the opportunity to get together and learn the basis of knitting from Susan Beth Gorden, a skilled knitter.
The Sisterhood of the Jewish Center of Teaneck invites all women, including teenagers, in the community to the next Knitting Night at the Jewish Center of Teaneck, to be held on Sunday, February 18, 7-8 p.m., in the boardroom, for an opportunity to get together and knit, crochet or stitch. The March Knitting Night will be held on Sunday, March 4, also at 7 p.m..
Novice knitters can be matched up with a mentor. Please RSVP if you will need this assistance to [email protected]. All are welcome.
The Jewish Center of Teaneck is at 70 Sterling Place. Entrance is by the ramp on Sterling Place.
