Baruch Hashem it’s Adar! Adar was brought in with joy and excitement in the JEC Lower School. The first week of Adar began with Rosh Chodesh and Israel Day! Students danced and sang their way through the hallways and outside. All classes enjoyed a chagiga with Mr. G. on Tuesday, silly hat and hair day on Wednesday and an amazing Silent DJ with Morah Brooke on Thursday. The week ended off with “Baruch Hashem for Shabbos,” as everyone celebrated Erev Shabbos together with Shabbos parties and a tish. This week, students also had Baruch Hashem for Torah day where they and their teachers dressed as a character from Tanach or a Jewish role model. Students also participated in an inter-grade learning program. The week ended with a school spirit day and a Yom Chesed.
