JEC Faculty Rush to Swab for Gift of Life Marrow Registry

In typical JEC fashion, the faculty of the Jewish Educational Center were the first to line up to swab their inner cheeks in the hope that they were a match for 31-year-old Jewish father Adam Krief, who is seriously ill and in need of a bone marrow donation. The initiative, brought to the JEC by parent and PTA volunteer Mrs. Ilana Adams of Hillside, attracted great attention and enthusiasm as teachers and other staff clamored to get tested. At the JEC, teachers are hand-picked to reflect and project the values embraced by the school and by their living example teach students real life values and practical advice on how to love their lives as Torah Jews, actively engaged in and with the world around them.
