The juniors class might be the youngest grade in the JEC, but they prove that it is never too soon to start learning about important topics such as recycling. Students recycled water bottles and a large piece of wood, and turned it into the most beautiful chanukiah. Each bottle was painted by a different child to represent each candle. They even teamed up to paint the large piece of wood which became the base of the menorah. They will be using this beautiful recycled menorah to “light” in their classroom during the week of Chanukah!
