JEC Kindergarten-B Gets Ready for Thanksgiving

As the warm weather seemed to quit cold turkey, KB set their eyes on their next unit—Thanksgiving! Though the drop in temperature can fowl anyone’s day, with the love, learning and laughter emanating from Morah Tova and Morah Brooke’s classroom you could hardly tell the weather changed at all. Students gobbled up the Thanksgiving story and that was just the beginning. With a focus on how the Native Americans lived, they became pattern pioneers. They hand dyed their Thanksgiving costumes, beaded pattern feather necklaces, made shape pattern headwear and more. Talking about all the things they have to be thankful for was a major focus and they know that it all comes from Hashem!
