The Early Childhood students had a blast baking and decorating cakes for Tu B’Shevat! Each class was given the ingredients and used their creativity to decorate a cake that looked like a tree. They were all unique and delicious. Morah Lani read “Sadie’s Snowy Tu B’Shevat” by Jamie Korngold and the class talked about the different climates in America and Israel and why they start planting trees in Israel around Tu B’Shevat. Happy Birthday to the trees!

Upper elementary students enjoyed a Tu B’Shevat Seder filled with divrei Torah, delicious food and lots of brachot. Students continue to step up their kavana. Thank you to Morah Meira and Rabbi P. for leading this special program.

First and second graders had an amazing time at their Tu B’Shevat Brachot Party with Morah Bienenfeld. The students spent weeks accumulating brachot and stepping up their kavana as they proudly said their brachot out loud. They enjoyed a story, some yummy treats and a fondue station. Happy Tu B’Shevat!
