The Jewish Educational Center’s Lower School proved that it is never too young to start engaging youth when it comes to the lessons of democracy and the political process. Students in the second grade participated in interactive groups exercises to learn about the upcoming elections and the various parties and candidates being represented. Students were extremely engaged with one child declaring, “I wish I could vote. This is so exciting!”
