The sounds of children playing, balls bouncing, music and carpool, are the soundtrack of a vibrant school. At the same time, living on the block of a school isn’t always easy. Carpool lines and lively children can be challenges that come along with such a location. Keeping this in mind, the JEC decided to present the neighbors on the adjacent blocks with a small gift as a gesture of our appreciation for dealing with these challenges. The Elementary School designed beautiful cards expressing warm wishes for the neighbors. Once completed, the eighth graders went door to door delivering the gifts and explaining how much the students appreciate having good neighbors. A special thank you to the JEC JPO for organizing such a meaningful project for the students and to the Laskers for sponsoring the gifts in memory of Yerachmiel Yitzchok ben Shmuel!
