As part of a continuous effort to strengthen the social fabric of the student body, Director of Guidance Dr. Rebecca Mischel runs a series of informal “lunch bunch” programs throughout the year.

Mischel invites small groups of students to join her for lunch, conversation and some games. Each group is composed carefully, depending on factors including grade or class dynamics. These lunchtime sessions provide an opportunity for students to interact with one another in a small setting that is supportive and fun, yet structured, and strengthen their relationships. Every child in grades one through six has the opportunity to enjoy a lunch bunch at least once each year as part of the lower school experience.
