This year’s theme of the year is JEC קהלתי, JECommunity! Every few months, students will focus on another aspect of community including Israel, the Jewish community and the communities where they live. During September and October, they will be focusing on the classroom community. JEC teachers are bringing the concept of community alive in their classrooms by creating class jobs, focusing on classroom community guidelines and building community through personal class goals.
