(Courtesy of JFSCNJ) The Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey (JFSCNJ) Gala Dinner will take place on Tuesday evening, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. The dinner is the main fundraiser that supports mental health, homecare, keeping older adults safe, and food insecurity programs that serve the Union County community. Community members can register/donate at www.jfscentralnj.org/dinner and join those who will come together to support the agency’s many programs.
Paul Glinn, Woodhaven Lumber, Colonia; Bracha Shechter, Ora Sheinson and Tara Speyer, all of Hillside; Robin Plattman, Westfield; Rabbi Victor S. Appell, Metuchen; Lourdes Leon, vice chair, Union Board of County Commissioners; and the Westfield Foundation will be honored for their various contributions to the agency and to the community.
