Jewish Family Service of MetroWest Launches Free Support Workshops for Parents and Caregivers

This has been a difficult and unprecedented year, and the impact on our mental health has been significant. Isolation, remote schooling, and loss have defined the experience for almost all of our children. Now that communities are opening up, parents struggle with the best way to help their children reenter “normal” life. How can we help our kids cope and, hopefully, thrive?

Join Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ for FREE support workshops for parents and caregivers this summer, led by Jodi Fox, LCSW, a clinician at Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ. Jodi will present information on ways to support your child’s mental and emotional health and lead a discussion with participants. Topics will include managing anxiety and depression, examining expectations, reestablishing routines, and the impact of technology on kids.

Re-Adjusting to ‘Normal’—How to Transition Back to School From Remote Learning
