(Courtesy of JFSCNJ) During this season of thanksgiving, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ (JFSCNJ) was fortunate to have an amazing group of volunteers from the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ’s Center for Volunteerism and Next Chapter (55+) pack the Tomchei Shabbos special Thanksgiving distribution on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Tomchei Shabbos of Elizabeth, Hillside and Springfield, under the auspices of JFSCNJ, distributes bi-monthly Shabbat packages to the Union County community. JFSCNJ thanked all of the volunteers, spearheaded by Jamie Carus, manager of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest’s Center for Volunteerism, and Andrea Bergman, Jewish Federation community concierge, Next Chapter, for organizing this group of volunteers on JFSCNJ’s behalf.
