Jewish History Brought to Life at RYNJ

RYNJ students learn the Purim Story with a relic Megillah that dates back at least two generations (100-150 years ago). The Megillah survived the Holocaust along with two other Tashmishei Kedusha – talis and tefillin. It belonged to Leibish Sauerhaft-Zanerhaft. His grandson would be 99 years old if he was alive today. Thank you Morah Sheryl for bringing in this amazing family heirloom.
