Jewish Home Family Provides Health Education For Underserved Seniors

(Courtesy of The Jewish Home) The Jewish Home Family is offering a monthly series of health education opportunities and screenings this summer. The next topic is “What You Need to Know About Meds” and will take place at 1 p.m. on June 30 at the Fair Lawn Senior Center, 11-05 Gardiner Rd. Fair Lawn.

The program is a collaboration with Fair Lawn for All Ages and an initiative of Project LEAD, a group of regional Leaders in Equity and Diversity Collaborative (LEAD) working together to reduce health disparities and advance health equity, especially among diverse and aging populations, by targeting measurable outcomes.

Heart: Keeping the Engine Running—August 10

Exercise: Get Moving and Keep Moving—September 21

Eating Well to Stay Well—October 19
