Jewish Home Golf and Tennis Outing Returns

(Courtesy of Jewish Home Foundation) After hosting a first-of-its kind virtual golf and tennis outing in the spring of 2020 due to the pandemic, The Jewish Home Foundation of North Jersey’s 27th annual Golf and Tennis Outing will be held at the Montammy Golf Club on Monday, June 7. Funds raised will be used for programs and services for the enrichment of the lives of seniors in our community, both in our facilities and in their homes. This year’s honoree is Wilson Aboudi of Demarest, a past president of Jewish Home Assisted Living, longtime board member and avid supporter of the annual fundraising event.

The Jewish Home Family and its member entities—Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Jewish Home Assisted Living, Jewish Home at Home, and Jewish Home Foundation—are not-for-profit organizations providing long-term care, sub-acute rehabilitation, elder abuse shelter, outreach programs, and outpatient services for the elderly. The Jewish Home Family’s mission is to develop and oversee the very best of care, services and advice for the elderly and their families at home and in their facilities, now and in the future, consistent with Jewish tradition and values.

The June 7 event begins with brunch at 9:45 a.m. Golf shotgun starts at 11:45 a.m.; round-robin tennis tournament at 1:00 p.m.; all followed by a lavish cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m. All COVID precautions will be in effect, with the brunch and cocktail hour in an open tent. The charge for golf is $600 per person, including brunch and cocktail hour; tennis is $350 per person, including brunch and cocktail hour. Cocktail hour only is $180 per person. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $250 and do not require attendance.
