The Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy recently purchased a set of 30 Chromebooks to use as a mobile computer lab stationed in the library. This enables classes in the library to use both online and print resources as part of inquiry projects. Within one week of receiving the Chromebooks, they were set up and in use by a middle school English class. They are incredibly easy to use, with wonderfully large screens. Going forward, the school intends to use the Chromebooks as part of new “makerspace” initiatives in the library.
