The JKHA eighth graders enjoyed a jam-packed three days in Washington, DC and environs. Students have had the opportunity to see important sights while bonding as a grade before their upcoming advancement. Highlights of the trip include visiting the historic sites of the city such as the Washington Monument, U.S. War Memorials, the Lincoln Memorial, early engagement meetings at AIPAC headquarters, and exploring the exhibits in the U.S. National Holocaust Museum. They also enjoyed time in Baltimore with a visit to the historic Fort McHenry Monument and National Aquarium and a Baltimore Orioles game. A dinner boat cruise rounded out the incredible experience for the grade.
