JKHA welcomed close to 300 grandparents to the JKHA Lower School for its Grandparents/Special Visitors Day. Grandparents traveled from near and far to spend the morning with their grandchildren. They enjoyed engaging classroom programs where grandparents and visitors got to work side by side with their grandchildren and get a glimpse of what goes on in their classroom on a typical school day. The morning finished with a spirited Shabbat assembly. The auditorium was filled with ruach and the sound of students and their guests singing along and welcoming in Shabbat. Shabbat assemblies are the highlight of the month and it was made even more special by being able to share it with special visitors.
