With the devastating news coming from Israel, JKHA Middle School students wondered how they could best support the victims in Israel and pray for the violence to end. In addition to the daily Tehillim that they have been saying, it was suggested that each student take upon him or herself to perform an extra mitzvah in the hope of peace in Israel. Every Middle School student made a “Kushner Kabbalah,” and each one is now on display in the halls of the Middle School. This initiative gives the students a sense of connection to our brothers and sisters in Israel and we pray for everyone’s safety and that the violence will end.
