Several grades in JKHA lower school have been part of an exciting 50 state postcard exchange. Students had the pleasure of sharing important information about New Jersey and reading important information about other states. The students are so excited when a new postcard arrives in the mail! Students have noticed that their counterparts who are sending the postcards seem to enjoy many of the same things that they do.
Fourth grade students used their writing skills to share important information about what it is like to be a fourth grade student in New Jersey. Students decided what information would be interesting to other students and had to summarize the information in the limited space of a postcard. The postcards are continuing to be delivered. Hopefully the large state map will be surrounded soon with all the 50 states!
