Chanukah at JKHA was jam-packed with activity, but along with all the fun was a number of chesed activities amongst the festivities. Second graders had organized a school-wide toy drive for ill children through Chai Lifeline.

The second graders performed the mitzvah by donating all the toys that they collected for Chai Lifeline, filling up a truck. Lower school students decorated cards to be sent with the collection of presents in the Toy Drive for Chai Lifeline which the second graders included with the mountain of toys.

Middle school made cards and put together care packages for Jewish troops in the U.S. Army stationed overseas.
