The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades will hold “Spin 4 Sharsheret,” a high-energy, empowering spin-a-thon at the JCC designed to encourage women to set goals for healthy living and support an important cause at the same time. The event will feature three 45-minute sessions on Sunday, October 29, at 8:15, 9:15, and 10:15 a.m. New this year, there will also be a 10 a.m. Zumba class. All proceeds will support Sharsheret, a local non-profit that supports young women and their families who are battling breast cancer.

Participants will be entered for a chance to win a free massage at the JCC Spa. They will also receive acupuncture and nutritional information, free giveaways, and a chance to win one free service at the Graf Center for Integrative Healing at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, including a one-month pass to meditation classes.

“Spin 4 Sharsheret” will be held in the JCC cycling room. Fee is $36 per person per session for both spin and Zumba. Bike selection will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, 30 minutes prior to each session. Participants should wear something pink in recognition of breast cancer awareness.
