To augment their studies in geology, the eighth grade of Kinneret Day School met with urban park rangers at Henry Hudson Park. The class learned about the different types of metamorphic rock native to the Bronx, as well as the formations and composition. The students also learned about which types of rock weather more quickly that others, and how rock and stone was used in the past.
