Congratulations to the Torah Bowl teams for another amazing competition. The boys and girls spent the past month studying every pasuk and Rashi in the sidras of Re’eh and Shoftim. Their hard work really paid off. This past week, captain Sonia Weiner, co-captain Shlomtzion Rubin, and team members Meira Shapiro, Leeby Levine and Sophia Greenblatt won all of the rounds and now have a perfect record of 8-0. The boys team also did exceedingly well, winning three of their four matches. Captain Shimi Kaufman, co-captain Shmuel Yosef Hirschprung, and team members Tzvi Ginzberg, Benzion Rotblat and Moshe Moskowitz are proud of their 7-1 record.
The Torah Bowlers are now busy preparing for their next challenging meet and are on the way to mastering the entire sefer Devarim. Kol hakavod to the stars for their hard work, their dedication to spending so much of their free time learning and for representing RYNJ with stellar midot.
