(Kushner sports) After a successful Columbus Tournament that had the RKYHS Cobras varsity baseball team competing in the championship game for their division, the team went on to finish the season strong as they head to the playoffs. Upon returning from Columbus, the Kushner Cobras faced off against HANC and took home a 14-4 win. This past Sunday was the final game of the regular season. The team honored its seniors after the game and celebrated them for their dedication to the team. It was a great morning of baseball as the Kushner Cobras defeated JEC 10-0, with stellar pitching from 11th grader Ben Leeds. That win secured the Cobra’s spot in the playoffs.

It is playoff season for both RKYHS varsity indoor soccer teams. It was a playoff win for the RKYHS boys varsity indoor soccer team as they defeated North Shore 11-5. They now head to the semifinals. The RKYHS girls varsity indoor soccer team traveled to Long Island over Memorial Day Weekend and defeated HAFTR 12-8 in their playoff game. The team is headed to the semifinals this Sunday.
