(Kushner sports) The Kushner Cobras varsity baseball team is peaking just at the right time. With a strong finish to the season, they entered the playoffs as the eighth and final seed. Last Friday, they squared off against DRS, the top SEED. In one of the biggest upsets of the year, they rolled over DRS by the score of 17-7. Highlights included sophomore Evan Haber blasting a two- run homer as well as senior Sean Felderman crushing a grand slam home run! After a slow start to the season, the Cobras are sending shock waves around the league, determined to do some real damage in the postseason. Kushner baseball is back!
