(Courtesy of Lamdeinu) Join Lamdeinu on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in July!

Lamdeinu’s schedule kicks off on Thursday, July 1, with Lamdeinu and Matan’s inaugural shiur entitled, “The Dr. Jack & Devorah Friedman Memorial Shiur: Reflections on Eretz Yisrael and Parashat Pinchas.” Dean Rachel Friedman will present this memorial shiur, which will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Lamdeinu’s July semester will continue on Tuesday, July 6. For three weeks, Channa Lockshin Bob will consider “The End of the Beginning: How Judaism Survived the Churban.” This series will take place Tuesdays, July 6, 13 and 20 from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. The class is open to men and women and will focus on the themes of the Three Weeks.

Lamdeinu’s Three Weeks learning will continue on Wednesdays, July 7 and 14 with Rabbi Yitzchak Etshalom who will discuss “The Prophetic Voice of Anguish: A Text Study of Megillat Eikhah.” This series will explore the latter portion of Megillat Eikhah—the beginning of the Megillah was discussed in June. If you are interested in hearing the previous classes, you can register for the full six-part series and receive the audio and video recordings from June.

Rabbi Etshalom will complete his series on Wednesday, July 21, with “Haftarot Nechamah: A Blueprint for Nichum Aveilim.” Rabbi Etshalom’s Eikhah and Nachamu series are open to men and women and will take place from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.

On Thursdays, prepare for Shabbat and gain new insights into the Parashah with Rabbi Hayyim Angel in “Parashat HaShavua.” This series will take place from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. and is open to men and women.

All July classes are open to men and women and will take place online via Zoom. To register, please visit www.Lamdeinu.org/register. For questions or to learn about sponsorship and dedication opportunities, please email [email protected].
