Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey’s Lavy House Live Series will be presenting “How to Talk to Your Teen About Alcohol and Drugs”, on Wednesday, April 17 at 11 a.m., at the Lavy House, 748 E. Broad Street, Westfield, New Jersey. The event will address concerns of parents and grandparents.
Join us for tips on having an honest and open conversation on this challenging subject. The program will be presented by JFSCNJ director of Social Work and Programming, Sharon Amtzis, LCSW. A graduate of the Southern Illinois University with a degree in psychology, Amtzis holds a master’s of social work degree from the University of Chicago’s School of Social Work.She has over 17 years of experience encompassing children and adult therapy, trauma informed care, and family advocacy.
The program is funded by the Lavy House and the Standish Foundation. Light refreshments will be served (kashrut observed). Ample parking is available in the Temple Emanu-El lot.
