Chaim Kahn: Chaim brings with him an extensive background in property management and construction as he joins Links. His past work experience in these fields will be an invaluable asset as he begins his career in real estate. Chaim decided to get his real estate license so he can become more actively involved in helping service his community and bring about a positive change in people’s lives.

In 2015 Chaim worked as a property manager where he successfully coordinated the execution of multiple high-value facility build-outs and upgrades to enhance their marketability. He coordinated with contractors and administrators to keep work moving at a cost- and time-effective pace. He performed research and analysis as part of the bidding and proposal development process and he held bottom-line responsibility for end-to-end property management functions including safety and maintenance.

In 2017 Chaim worked as a project manager for an interior design company. He was directly responsible for the purchasing of all materials and the execution of all projects to ensure they were completed in a safe and timely manner while also adhering to all building codes. He also negotiated all of the contracts with subcontractors and oversaw the designing of nursing homes and other assisted-living facilities.

In 2018 Chaim worked as a construction manager where he oversaw the work on multiple construction sites that were completing flips on residential projects. He remained the lead contact to ensure all projects were completed while adhering to strict zoning and building codes.

Chaim is highly organized and an independent self-starter. He has the ability to effectively coordinate tasks and accomplish projects with timeliness and creativity. He is detail oriented, adaptable and maintains a positive attitude and strong work ethic. He is eager to learn, and embraces challenges.

Martin Elefant: Martin graduated from Touro College where he studied business administration and obtained a bachelor’s degree in marketing. In 2015, Martin began his career in the real estate industry by joining the Winthrop Realty Group, a property-management company in Bronx, New York. Working primarily in an administrative role, Martin oversaw the office inventory, telephone screening, assisted with the collection of accounts receivables and performed other projects as needed.

In 2016 Martin joined Storm Living LLC, a student-housing company that specializes in finding and leasing off-campus housing for students at St. John’s University. While at Storm Living, Martin was involved in the researching of and direct marketing to several of the investment properties that his firm later purchased. He later became more actively involved at his company, which resulted in the direct showing and leasing of over 80 individual apartments to students from the university.

Martin has continued to pursue and advance his career in real estate here at Links where he focuses primarily on property management. He is young, personable, and ambitious. His education and prior work experience have provided a solid foundation for him to grow his career. Martin is a great listener and he truly works to fully understand his clients’ wants and needs. He establishes open communication, works diligently, and strives to build strong and lasting relationships with each of his clients.

Born and raised in Bergen County, Martin is very knowledgeable of the many communities it encompasses and the hyper-local trends within each of the markets. He continues to research and study the markets to stay up to date and to identify new investment opportunities for his clients and his brokerage.
