(Courtesy of Lubavitch on the Palisades) Lubavitch on the Palisades ushered in the first night of Chanukah with a Family Festival and Menorah Contest. The children’s creativity, hard work and effort were heartwarming and inspirational. Each contestant received a prize, in addition to the grand prize winners. Music, doughnuts, arts ’n crafts, menorah lighting and a show were also a part of the evening. What a great way to start the holiday of Chanukah!
