Teaneck–The Splash Pad initiative continues to gain momentum and exposure in the community. This is an exciting, new, all-inclusive outdoor garden and water play area to be constructed in one of Teaneck’s municipal parks–once fundraising is complete. Individual donations are needed, since the town recreation department budget will not be funding this project. The play area will include an all-inclusive, handicapped-accessible water park to make a “splash” with children of all ages and capabilities. Support by community businesses is crucial for the success of this endeavor. The Teaneck Speech and Language Center understands the needs of children in Teaneck and has become the newest business donor to support the project.
