Elementary School Science Teacher

The Yeshivat Noam fifth grade scientists have been using the scientific method to make discoveries and collect data. They compared the structure of various bess beetles and hypothesized about how much weight the beetle could carry.

The students tied dental floss lassos between their thorax and abdomen and gave them paper clip weights to carry across the table. The students were shocked to discover that some bess bugs can carry 70 paper clips without a struggle!
