Mazel tov! RYNJ is so proud of the first grade boys and girls at RYNJ for receiving their first Chumashim. The talmidim and talmidot spent the past few weeks working together with their morot to learn meaningful songs for their Chumash presentations that centered around the importance and beauty of Torah learning in our lives. In addition, they have been preparing for this fantastic milestone by learning multiple pre-Chumash skills in their classrooms so they could be ready to start the first pasuk right away! The day was made even more special with a mazal tov visit from Rabbi Price. May the tremendous love for Torah learning that they demonstrate continue for many years to come!
