In honor of their bar mitzvah year, the MDS seventh grade boys spent months learning about both the meaning and the laws of tefillin. In conclusion of their studies, students were challenged to create a business card that contained a summary of the most important information about tefillin—a card that you could hand to any Jew to quickly catch them up on the mitzvah of tefillin. The winning design—chosen based on clarity, and design—was professionally printed with a QR code to a special tefillin website, and distributed throughout the school and West Side Judaica. For a free MDS tefillin card, stop by either MDS or West Side Judaica!
