Meatless at the Steakhouse

The Reserve Cut, the elegant steakhouse in the heart of Manhattan’s Financial District, has announced the availability of a special “Meatless Menu,” available throughout the observance of the “Nine Days.” In less than a year, the 300 seat restaurant has become the go-to downtown eatery. For the duration of the special period leading to the Tisha b’Av observance, the restaurant has added a special gourmet menu.

What’s a Jew to do during those days when “let them eat steak” is simply not the way to go? The Reserve Cut understands, and has created a gracious, elegant non – basari – meat – menu the observant crowd can enjoy when steak or chops are just not the dish of choice? To accommodate religious dictates – and satisfy gourmet appetites – the restaurant is serving a superb variety of fine fish dishes designed especially for the Nine Days. Everything is prepared to the same exacting standards for which the Reserve Cut is known for throughout the year. For, those who have no dietary restritions, the regular menu is always available.

Located just minutes from the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges and a short distance from the Hugh Carey Tunnel, The Reserve Cut serves Lunch & and Dinner in its six ornate dining rooms. It can accommodate up to 300 guests, and is the perfect venue for a business lunch or dinner and a beautiful setting for that special simcha – celebration – or event. Owner Albert Alaham warmly invites you to visit the elegant dining oasis at 40 Broad Street, next to the New York Stock Exchange. Lunch served from 11:30, Dinner, served every evening until 10:30 except Friday when the restaurant closes at 3:30. Dinner on Sunday from 5 to 10:30.
