Medicare Information Program To Be Held in Englewood

Age-Friendly Englewood will present an information program on Medicare Annual Enrollment on Tuesday, November 5, 9:30-11:00 a.m., at Congregation Ahavath Torah, 240 Broad Avenue, in Englewood.

A SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) counselor from the Bergen County Division of Senior Services will review what you need to know about Medicare for 2020: Medicare Parts A and B, Medicare Part D prescription drug plans, Medigap programs, Medicare Advantage Plans, what happens if you do not enroll in Medicare and what kind of financial assistance is available for eligible Medicare beneficiaries.

Age-Friendly Englewood is a community-wide project that is working to ensure that residents of Englewood can age in place in their homes and in the community with dignity and independence.

The program is open to the public free of charge. Registration is required.
