This past sunday was the kick off of the MGBL girls season, with new player evaluations at Yeshivat Ben Porat Yosef. Close to 80 young ladies took to the court to show the MGBL commissioners how talented they are. Teams and schedules will be posted over the next week or two and all teams will begin action the weekend after Sukkot.

An inside source told The JLNJ that MGBL is giving all participants “probably our coolest giveaway yet,” in honor of the league’s 10th anniversary. There are still a couple of open spots in the third/fourth and fifth/sixth grade divisions. All spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
