This week, Moriah lower school had an incredible time celebrating Chanukah as a community. The week began with See Run Build, in which each lower school class needed to replicate a chanukiah. Friday finished off by playing “Name That Tune!” After Shabbat Chanukah spent at home with family, the entire school came together for a long standing Moriah tradition of Cafe Chanukah. Everyone watched and sang along to “HaSevivon” and then younger and older students paired up to play a fun Kahoot game together. The fun didn’t stop then because on Tuesday Uri Davidi led an incredible Chanukah chagiga and the bnot sheirut ran human board games for each class. On Wednesday, the entire lower school gathered for Hallel led by Eitan Zeffren, followed by “Minute to Win” it challenges where teachers had the chance to compete to win! Fifth grade and the bnot sheirut ran a fun and lively Chanukah carnival for all the students. The incredible week ended with an oneg on the last day.
