Moriah middle school enjoyed an unbelievable week of Chanukah! The week started off with the really special Moriah tradition of Cafe Chanukah, enjoying treats, songs and games with the younger children. The annual Chanukah Chinese Auction saw teachers offering unique prizes like Snowy BBQ with Rabbi E to raise money for tzedaka. The week continued with an Escape the Room presented by the shlichim and special carnival treats for lunch! Nothing could top the ruach at the chagiga with Joey Newcomb and everyone was so grateful to welcome their friends from Yachad, who joined for dancing and lunch as well. The week concluded with loads of fun and spirit through G Squared, a grade games competition, and then a three-on-three basketball tournament, which raised money for the Israel Sports Center for the Disabled and ended with a fiercely competitive student-teacher round!
