On Wednesday, Moriah eighth grade students had the special opportunity to learn in memory of Morris Zimmerman, z”l, in honor of his upcoming yahrzeit. Mr. Zimmerman, together with his wife, Elaine, a”h, was a founder of The Moriah School. Students began their learning with a video all the way from Eretz Yisrael from Sam Zimmerman, son of Morris and Elaine, who shared memories of his time at Moriah and inspiring words about his parents. Students learned Mishnayot beginning with the letters of Morris’ name, Moshe, and concluded the program with a kibbud. Moriah is grateful to the Zimmerman family for initiating this important opportunity and thrilled that the family was able to participate in this meaningful event via Zoom.
