In honor of Thanksgiving, The Moriah School early childhood had special programming to prepare for the day. They joined other “Native Americans” and “Pilgrims” from their grade at a socially distanced pow wow, where students enjoyed hearing Morah Divsha read a Thanksgiving story and had fun singing and clapping to Morah Keli’s Thanksgiving songs. Everyone partook in some yummy pre-Thanksgiving treats, including cornbread muffins, popcorn and Squanto’s secret for the pow wow feast!
