On Thursday, May 6, the Moriah sixth graders participated in a chesed project run by Yachad NJCD. The students learned about some of the programs that Yachad runs over the course of the year and shared their previous experiences with Yachad. The students then helped create 85 Shavuot holiday boxes that Yachad will be delivering to all of its members. The boxes contain learning activities, art projects and other items that will be used as part of Yachad’s Shavuot programming. The students were so excited to participate in this Chesed project and do their part to help ensure everyone feels included and appreciated during Shavuot.
