Although there were no regular sessions on Thanksgiving Day, Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) hosted morning shiurim, along with refreshments, in six of its various local communities: Rabbi Jonathan Kessel spoke in Bergen County, Rabbi Mordechai Brownstein spoke in Brooklyn, Rabbi Shimon Schenker spoke in Edison, Rabbi Mayer Schiller spoke in Monsey, Rabbi Jon Green spoke in Queens and Rabbi Elon Soniker spoke in West Hempstead. The shiurim were attended by MTA students, parents, prospective students and community members.

In all, close to 150 people participated in this incredible learning opportunity. The Quint and Lipman families sponsored the program in loving memory of Esther bas Isser Tzvi.
