The Lions kicked the season off with a strong performance against the Rambam Ravens. Game number two, however, saw then facing a much tougher opponent: the TABC Storm.
The Lions played a solid defensive first half but could not convert on the other side of the court and found themselves trailing 19- 12 going into the break. In the second half, the Lions continued their strong defensive play but were unable to put enough points on the board to surmount a comeback. The final score was 40-30 in favor of TABC.
Teaneck native Eli Lipner was the Lion’s leading scorer with 14 points.
