In what’s now being called The Fever Game, MTA battled through sickness to secure a 42-32 win over Heschel. Despite several players feeling under the weather, they showed grit and determination from start to finish. Senior Jakey Abenaim was clutch, leading the team with 12 points and four assists, setting the tone for the offense. Josh Treuhaft was a beast in the paint, putting up nine points and pulling down 13 rebounds.

Andi Richman chipped in seven points, while Gavi Engel and Yishai Neiss each added four. Gavi was unstoppable on defense, recording an insane seven blocks, while Efraim Avramov’s hustle stood out with seven steals and nine rebounds. MTA’s defense kept Heschel in check, and they capitalized on key turnovers.

MTA really stepped up and earned a hard-fought victory in true Lions fashion.
